Scenery was awesome. The owners and managers of the guest houses were competent and friendly. The organization from Zbulo was always right on. Everything ran smoothly and they answered every question in a timely fashion.
The Peaks of the Balkans route is getting overcrowded, unfortunately. I think soon infrastructure will be overrun.

Initially we thought to do the Self Guided, but we are very glad we had a guide as we got so much more of the history and life of the area and it allowed us to relax into looking around and enjoying the hike. The guide had excellent knowledge of the track and the people we met and visited along the way.
The accom and food also very good.

This is a great a trip to do at the end of the summer. Small villages in the mountains, hiking along paths with fantastic views, followed by beautiful beaches and swimming in warm water. Visits to old castles and churches were included in the outings. Leticia was competent and friendly and greatly contributed to a positive group experience.

Hard to give feedback on what to improve – I enjoyed all of it.
Overall a fantastic trip, good value for money, good food, good route and materials, helpful staff, easy transfers.

BORDER CROSSING PERMITS
As you are planning to take on the cross border trails of the Peaks of the Balkans, the High Scardus or the Via Dinarica, you have surely come across the need for border crossing permits. These permits are part of a special application system used by hikers and cyclists who wish to cross the “green borders” between Albania, Kosovo, Montenegro or North Macedonia. Even if you don’t book a trip with us and prefer to explore these trails independently, we can assist you with obtaining your permits.
