8-day relaxed cycling in southern Albania

A gentler ride along southern Albania’s UNESCO cycling route

Cycle a gentler version of southern Albania’s UNESCO cycling route from the southern highlands to the beaches of the Albanian Riviera. Begin near Korçë and ride through rural villages and the Gërmenj highlands before following the Vjosa Valley towards Gjirokastër. Continue to the World Heritage-listed site of Butrint and the Ionian coast, finishing in Himare before returning to Tirana.

Shorter stages and selected transfers make this the relaxed version of the route, while still combining mountain landscapes, historic towns, archaeological sites and coastal scenery.
