Activity

With close to 400 kilometers over 6 cycling days, this holiday is ideal for regular weekend cyclists seeking a new challenge. The itinerary includes a mix of shorter, easier days with minimal ascent and longer days with moderate climbs, typically ranging from 500 to 1,200 meters of altitude gain. Most of the time, the cycling is done after lunchtime, leaving a shorter part of the ride to the next night's accommodation. The roads are generally quiet and well-surfaced, though there are a few rougher sections in the mountains. On the last day, there's the option to tackle the Llogara Pass, which features a challenging 1,500-meter climb followed by a steep and winding descent with a few tight corners, more technical than other parts of the route. This can be skipped if you prefer a gentler finish. Albanian motorists are known for their courteous behavior, always giving cyclists the space they need on the road.
