Activity

With close to 500 kilometers of cycling over 8 days, this holiday is perfect for regular weekend cyclists looking for a new challenge. The itinerary includes a variety of days, with some shorter, easier rides and others featuring longer, moderate climbs ranging from 500 to 1,200 meters of altitude gain. Typically, the cycling is completed after lunchtime, often leaving a shorter part of the day to finish the ride to the overnight accommodation. The roads are mostly quiet and well-surfaced, though you’ll encounter a few rougher sections in the mountains. On the final day, there’s an opportunity to conquer the Llogara Pass, which boasts a challenging 1,500-meter climb, followed by a steep and winding descent with a few tight corners—more technical than other parts of the route, so careful handling is needed. This climb can be skipped if you prefer a gentler finish. Throughout the journey, you’ll find that Albanian motorists are considerate, always giving cyclists the space they need on the road.
