Valbona Valley in the Albanian Alps

Zbulo for the travel trade

Zbulo for Travel Advisors

Active journeys in Albania and the Western Balkans for culturally curious clients. Match the walking, comfort and independence to the travellers, then choose the right established trip.

A thoughtful match starts with the brief

Tell us how your clients like to travel: their recent walking or cycling experience, preferred daily effort, room requirements and interest in local life. Our strength is active travel with meaningful encounters, not a sightseeing-only or generic luxury holiday.

We specialize in active journeys enriched by local culture. We don't arrange sightseeing-only holidays or motorized adventure activities.

On foot

Easy walking, day hikes and multi-day treks, matched to your clients' fitness and the season. Culture and food are part of the journey, not a substitute for its active focus.

On two wheels

Cycling and mountain biking, including established self-guided cycling itineraries in southern Albania. We match the route and support arrangements to the riding experience required.

On snow

Snowshoeing and ski touring for suitably experienced travellers. Winter programmes require a separate conversation about ability, conditions and guiding.

Bringing 1–5 travellers?

Start with our guided group departures. Your clients join an established itinerary and travel-trade partners can book on commission.

For 2027, at least one scheduled departure every weekend from 11 April to 24 October. Coastal and valley walks bookend the high-mountain summer season. Check the calendar for current dates, departure status and available places.

For clients who need their own dates or privacy, start with an existing self-guided or private itinerary. Bespoke development is primarily for parties of six or more; smaller-party exceptions are considered where an existing trip cannot meet the brief.

Be candid about comfort and terrain

Activity

Choose by walking hours, elevation and terrain as well as the difficulty label. A mountain itinerary and a coastal walk can offer very different experiences.

Accommodation

Family-run stays and shared meals are part of many mountain journeys. Private en-suite rooms are not available on every trail; the Coastal Trail offers a more consistent private-room option.

Culture and connection

Village hosts, local food, historic paths and conversations with guides give context to the landscapes. Cultural experiences sit within an active journey rather than replacing it.

Four starting points

Routes we know on the ground, shaped by our work in trail and destination development. These are established journeys, not a claim of exclusive access to the trails.

Privacy without starting from scratch

For clients wanting their own dates or a private guide, first adapt the choice of an existing private itinerary. Self-guided journeys offer independence on established routes. Both give small parties a clear starting point.

Bespoke development is primarily for parties of six or more. If a smaller party has requirements that no existing itinerary can meet, explain the need and we will consider whether a selective exception is appropriate.
