ALBANIA Host of itb 2025
As we’re returning from Berlin to Tirana, we’re looking back on a successful presence at this year’s ITB. Berlin’s International Travel Trade Fair chose Albania to be this year’s official Host Country. With the motto “Albania All Senses”, the opening ceremony celebrated Albania’s culture, including musical and dance performances in traditional costumes. Over the following three days, visitors could enjoy more performances, tune into panel discussions and press conferences and, of course, talk to the different exhibitors at the fair.

While the Zbulo team have been attending the ITB for years, this year’s experience was truly special. Having our own stand and being able to share our love for Albania as an adventure travel and active holiday destination with so many of ITB’s visitors as an exhibitor was an amazing opportunity. And seeing the genuine interest of so many people in our country’s nature and culture has only renewed our commitment to creating the best possible holiday experiences, while making sure to preserve Albania’s treasures for future generations of travellers.

Excellent coordination by Zbulo from preparation to end. We were not entirely aware that our main bags would be transported FOR us from hut to hut. While this was great, I would have prepared a little differently, making sure I had a proper day pack and then packed all else in a duffle. The food was pretty good and varied throughout, so no complaints there.

The two guides were excellent, experienced, attentive to everyone’s well-being, and always clear about the daily itinerary, what to expect in terms of difficulty, weather,… and safety instructions.

Fantastic trip through the Peaks of the Balkans! It was great to see parts of Albania, Montenegro, and Kosovo that are off the beaten track.
