My 2 friends and I did the self guided 11 day peaks of the Balkans trip with Zbulo and had an amazing experience! We truly got to turn our brains off as they sorted out EVERYTHING for us. It was amazing to have rides, transport, guesthouses, etc. all booked without having to do the work. My friends and I unfortunately came down with a stomach bug during the trip, but the team at Zbulo was amazingly helpful. They sorted transport for us on the days we couldn’t hike and helped us every step of the way. It was also fun to connect with others who were on the same itinerary with us. It felt like we had a group even though we were on the self guided tour. I can’t say enough good things about the Zbulo team and our trip!

Zbulo did a fabulous job answering all of our pre-departure questions, providing detailed information in the roadbook & gpx files, and offering options for many of the hikes. This allowed us to fully enjoy the people we met, the incredible hikes and beautiful landscapes each day. The highlight for us was eating lunch overlooking Montenegro while at Pyramid 18.

Zbulo chose the highlights of the hiking trails, provided transfers to eliminate the long, tedious road sections, and added a spectacular day in Prokletije National Park. Felt very supported, great getting transfers to and from Tirana and having a boat trip on Lake Komani. Hiking days are long, so having just a day pack to carry works well. Just book it!

Es war eine unglaublich beeindruckende Wanderung! Wir waren eine ganz tolle Gruppe aus 6 verschiedenen Nationalitäten, die sich für diese großartigen Landschaften und wunderbaren Menschen begeisterte. Unser Guide Blendi führte uns souverän und vermittelte uns so viel Wissenswertes. Die Unterkünfte differieren von klimatisiert und fein bis rustikal und einfach (Hüttenschlafsack unbedingt zu empfehlen), diese Mischung fand ich sehr gelungen, weil man dabei ganz kurz mal in das Leben der Menschen vor Ort einblicken konnte. Ich bin so glücklich, diese Wanderung erlebt zu haben. Herzlichen Dank!

We especially enjoyed staying in the guesthouses, which felt very authentic, and the hosts were always incredibly welcoming. The food was amazing, and we were pleasantly surprised by the wide variety of vegetarian options available, which we absolutely loved.

Our guides, Nedhi and Marin, organised everything perfectly. Even when they had to repeat information several times to make sure everyone had heard and understood it, they never lost patience. We also felt very fortunate to be able to ask them so many questions about the region, its culture, and local life, and they were always happy to share their knowledge with us.
Thank you so much for everything. We will definitely recommend Zbulo to our friends and family, and we very much hope to come back ourselves one day.
