We had a great experience with the High Scardus Trail, a completely new trek on the border between Albania and Macedonia. We were prepared to discover the undiscovered, which we certainly did!

Paths made by sheep, or walking on the meadow when the path was not yet defined. Looking for route improvements together with our guide, while enjoying the beautifull green views and getting exhausted by long climbs.

Every day ended with a delicious meal, made by the extremely hospitable families we stayed at. For us, one of the best moments of the trek was when one of the hosts served a traditional handmade desert after spending five hours in the kitchen… incredibly tasty!

We were very happy with the small group size and of course our guide Anton: He creates a great atmosphere using lots of humour and his social and open attitude. He wants to do (and does!) the best for everyone! He also shared his extensive knowledge about nature, mountains and his country. At the same time, he is also interested to every other person and eager to learn every day.

For us, it was the perfect trek! Thank you Zbuolo, thank you Anton!
