We did the self guided walking tour. A great introduction to this wonderful country. We found the timings of the walks very ambitious but can’t fault the variety and the information, possibly too much information at times to be able to process. The back up is superb, GPS coordinates, local phone, etc. The drivers for pickups and transfers totally reliable and a great choice of hotels.
To be honest, two middle-aged Brits without a word of Albanian between them, wandering the hills, sometimes without seeing another human for hours on end – you got to have confidence in the back up and we certainly did.
