I took the guided tour with Mendi (Menduh) Hidden Valley homestead Trekking in south Albania. It was incredible! Fantastic and varying landscapes and hikes. Because of Mendi we met many locals who invited us for a coffee or raki, even a meal. Mendi clearly loves his country and he knew so much about its history and culture, aside from botany, Albanian music and literature, and more! He was always accessible, helpful and could answer all questions with insight , and a great sense of subtle humor, too. Plus, he knew the best places to eat great local food . Best guide ever!!
