What an amazing experience! Everything was perfectly planned and great value. The people and food were amazing. Zbulo was very responsive in getting our trip set up and all the guesthouse hosts they selected we delightful.

They provided a 60 page pdf itinerary of the whole week, including host bios, written trail following instructions (to pair with the gps and gps files they give you), extra things to see if you have the energy, bad weather options, etc. It is so well thought out!

We don’t like camping much but do a lot of longer day hikes to get away from people and into nature. This type of town to town hike in a remote area of Albania was the perfect activity for us. We never had to carry more than our day packs since our extra bags were transported ahead by Zbulo via car or mule! We got to spend hours each day hiking one way, seeing all new scenery everyday.

Southern Albania is beautiful and the hidden valley hike is a bit lesser known that then hikes in the north. I recommend doing this trip if you want to get farther away from the crowds.
