only negative point is the heat .. of course zbulo can not change this but what would be good is that walkers could start the day much earlier : now we could only start around 08:00 (as breakfast was served only at 07:00).

Knowing that day light starts at 05:00 in the morning … having a much earlier start in the morning would make the walk much more convenient.

The guesthouses were not so flexible about this.

1/ classic tour peaks of the balkan is OK, but indeed the part in kosovo is not so ‘interesting’ and walking on the dirt roads (also used by jeeps) is awful, especially when the temperature is hot.

I am sure there are much nicer places in the mountains around the places we have been that are much nicer than the classic actual tour ‘peaks of the balkan’.

I would suggest looking for nicer alternatives for some parts.

2/ Some lodges/guesthouses should really do effort on ecological aspects (waste water, collecting garbage, waste of food (as really to much is served and not even half is eaten).
