I had one of the best trips ever in Albania. The people were friendly and helpful, the food was excellent, home grown, organic, we never went hungry. I felt safe , the mountains and countryside were calming and restful and the cities , Tirana and Shkodër were vibrant and really good fun. This country has been through really challenging times politically and the people have suffered but still everyone I met was kind and I certainly did not feel like I was getting ripped of or scammed at any point.
