Vusanje – Peja Pass – Theth

Walk from Vusanje into the glacier-shaped Ropojana Valley. The route passes the karst spring of Oko Skakavice, Gjeshtare Lake and remains of the former border zone before entering broad alpine meadows.

A small lake marks the approach to Peja Pass (1,711 m). From the pass, a steep path descends in long bends into the Theth Valley. The terrain is rocky in places and the descent requires care, particularly when wet.

Near the bottom, you may arrange a local lift to the guesthouse or continue along the track into Theth. The day ends in the village after one of the longest and most varied border crossings of the journey.
