Radomire – Mt. Capi i Kuq – Grama

Leave Radomire and follow a former military patrol route towards the highlands. Sections of the old border infrastructure remain visible, including the “brezi i butë”, a strip of sand once used to reveal footprints. During communist rule, this border zone was heavily controlled.

From the day’s high point, look across a broad glacial valley and the surrounding grazing land. The route passes a mountain lake before reaching the Grama pasture at around 1,770 m. Tonight’s accommodation is in simple shepherd huts, without mobile signal or electricity and with basic washing facilities. The stay provides insight into seasonal shepherd life before tomorrow’s pass crossing.
