Arrival – Kukes

A group transfer leaves Tirana city centre at 14:00 and collects guests from Tirana Airport around 40 minutes later. Travellers arriving later or from another location can request a private transfer, including from Prishtina Airport, to join the group in Kukes for the tour briefing and dinner. As the route does not return to Kukes, any unnecessary luggage is best stored in Tirana or Prishtina.

Kukes lies in north-eastern Albania near the meeting of the White Drin and Black Drin rivers. Views of Mount Gjallica (2,489 m) provide an introduction to the mountain landscape ahead.
