Arrival – Himare

Our journey begins in Tirana, where you’ll meet your guide and fellow travelers. A group transfer departs first from the city center and then picks up guests at the airport before heading south.

Along the way, your guide will introduce the days ahead while pointing out highlights such as the Vjosa River, the shimmering salt pans of the Narta Lagoon, and sweeping views across the Bay of Vlorë. Crossing through the Llogara Tunnel, the landscape changes dramatically as the road descends to the sun-kissed Albanian Riviera.

A scenic coastal drive leads past Mediterranean villages and olive groves before reaching the seaside town of Himarë, where a family-run hotel by the beach will be our base for the next five nights.

In the evening, we gather for a welcome dinner- an opportunity to share a first taste of Albania’s local flavors and get to know each other better.
